"I went with my 4 and 7..."
I went with my 4 and 7 year old, and I felt comfortable the whole time. The staff seemed to be around when needed without hovering, and it looked like they were keeping an eye on the busier areas.
The play areas seemed well looked after, the gates appeared to be shut properly, and the animal sections had clear reminders about washing hands and that sort of thing. Even once it got a bit busier, it didn’t really feel chaotic. Overall, it was a nice day out, and I didn’t feel like I had to be on edge every second.

"Really easy to find my way around"
I found the site really straightforward to use. For me, the layout just made sense, so I wasn’t wasting time clicking through loads of pages trying to figure out where things were. Everything felt clear and easy to follow, which made the whole experience smooth

"I never thought I’d be writing about..."
I never thought I’d be writing about toilets, but they made a difference. They were easy to find and clean, and the baby changing area was tidy too. It’s not exactly a glamorous thing to praise, and part of me thinks it should just be standard anyway, but with a little one it really did make the visit less stressful. Definitely appreciated it

I ended up canceling my booking, and to be fair, the refund did eventually come through. It just took a little longer than I was expecting, and I had to follow up once to get an update. The staff weren’t rude or anything, they did respond, but it wasn’t the fastest experience. My take is that the service itself is okay, but the cancellation and refund process could be a lot smoother and more reassuring.

"Kids Had Fun With the Goats"
The kids really liked the goats, which was nice to see. Some of the other animals, though, seemed kind of bored just standing around, or maybe tired, I’m not sure. Still, for the kids it was a good little visit

"Really well looked after"
Visited recently and, uh, I was impressed with how tidy everything was. The toilets were clean, the paths looked well kept, and nothing felt run down. You can really tell they stay on top of the maintenance

"Easy booking, no hassle at all"
Booked tickets online for Mead Open Farm and it was actually really straightforward. Picked the date, added the tickets, paid, and the email came through quickly. I was half expecting some kind of issue and to be waiting for an apology like you do with some websites, but everything just worked. Would definitely use it again.

"We took the kids for a day..."
We took the kids for a day out they had the best time. They loved seeing the animals, running around the play areas, and of course the tractor ride, what kid doesn’t love a tractor ride? The staff were friendly enough and there was loads to keep everyone busy. It was a bit muddy, but what do you expect on a farm? All part of the fun, really.

"Pretty good day out despite the rain"
I was expecting the weather to make the whole day a bit of a hassle once the rain started, but the staff actually handled it better than I thought they would. Things stayed fairly organized, and we still managed to enjoy ourselves. Not perfect because of the weather, but overall it turned out to be a good day.

"Fast moving lines"

"Lovely birthday party, just a bit hectic in places"
We had my child’s birthday party at Mead Open Farm and overall it was a really lovely day. The staff were friendly, the kids had a great time with the animals and play areas, and the food came out fine too. It did feel a little rushed towards the end though, and parking was busy, which made things slightly stressful. Maybe that’s just how these parties go though? Still, everyone seemed happy and the children enjoyed themselves, so I’d say it was a success.

I had a fun day overall, especially once I just focused on the parts I was actually there for. That said, the queue situation was kind of muddled and hard to follow, so I found myself tuning out the rest and just trying to figure out where I needed to be. Not a bad event, just could’ve been organized a bit better

"Decent day out, but a bit pricey"
We had a nice enough day at Mead Open Farm, but I did come away feeling like it’s not exactly a cheap outing. There’s plenty for the kids to do, to be fair, and they were kept busy for hours, so in that sense it wasn’t bad value. The food prices were a bit much though, so I’m glad we brought snacks with us. Staff were friendly and the place seemed clean, which was good. I’d probably go again, but only if I could find a deal or discount next time.

There were plenty of spaces close to the entrance, so we didn’t have to keep driving around looking for one. It was simple but really useful, especially with the kids, and made the visit a lot less stressful.

We stopped by and it wasn’t nothing too fancy, but the food was really fresh and the coffee tasted good. The kids loved it too, so we left happy.

"Info was accurate, but planning still took effort"
The opening times and ticket details on the website matched what we found when we got there, so at least there were no annoying surprises. It was easy enough to plan around, though I still felt like I had to do more checking than I wanted just to make sure everything was right.

"The hours worked perfectly for my day"
I took my family to Mead Open Farm the opening hours suited me really well. I didn’t feel like I had to rush around in the morning, which made the whole day feel a lot easier. We still had plenty of time to see the animals and let the kids burn off some energy in the play areas. For me, anything that’s simple to plan with little ones is a win. I’d definitely go again.

"Plenty of nice spots to sit"
We had a really nice time and, to be fair, the seating and picnic areas were better than I expected. There was loads of space, so it didn’t feel cramped at all, and we found a table easily after bringing our own food. It was great having somewhere to sit and relax while the kids ran around. I can see it maybe being a bit different on a super busy day, but for us it worked really well. Would definitely go again.

"Pretty easy in my wheelchair, but communication could be better"
Getting around in my wheelchair was actually easy — the ramps were in good shape, and the staff helped me out without making a big deal of it, which I appreciated. The only annoying part was that some of the communication was unclear, so I wasn’t always sure where to go or what to expect. A little clearer info would’ve made the whole experience much smoother.

"Annual pass has already paid for itself"
We got annual passes this year they’ve been well worth it so far. We’ve used them a lot already, and after our most recent visit last weekend I was reminded how nice it is to just pop in for a few hours without feeling like we have to make a whole day of it. The kids always manage to find something fun to do, and signing up for the membership online was straightforward. I’d give it 5 stars, but weekends can get really busy and the food queues were especially slow on our last visit.
